Climate Corps Projects
Meituan – Luyao Zhang – 2019
This fellowship was completed in 2019. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Luyao Zhang
Shanghai Jiao Tong University
Zhang Luyao got her bachelor's degree of MSE and is now studying environmental engineering at Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Her graduate research is focusing on how urbanization and consumption patterns affect carbon emissions in China, which inspired her to apply market-based methods to climate change.
