Kingfisher – Doryn Negesa – 2018
This fellowship was completed in 2018. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Doryn Negesa is a Ugandan Ph.D. candidate at Tsinghua University's School of Environment. She focuses on the eco-industrial development and circular economy formulation. Doryn is passionate about sustainable development, and believes industrial symbiosis and expanding renewable energy capacity are key to mitigating climate change.
