NYSE Euronext – Evan Fisher – 2013

Goals

Evan Fisher focused on finding energy efficiency savings for the historic landmark, the New York Stock Exchange Building, which encompasses 11 Wall Street and the Broad Street properties (excluding 20 Broad), covering approximately 400,000 square feet. The building and its associated assets are owned by NYSE Euronext.

Solutions

Fisher analyzed energy efficiency opportunities at these buildings. Working hand in hand with the engineering staff and Global Real Estate team, Fisher investigated a wide range of issues.

Potential Impact

The numerous specific energy upgrades analyzed and recommended could reduce NYSE Euronext’s carbon emissions by more than 300 metric tons and produce more than $100,000 in annual energy cost savings. In addition, certain recommended behavioral and process changes could have intangible benefits.
