City of Cleveland – Jayesh Potdar – 2012
Goals
The City of Cleveland hired Jayesh Potdar to collect data for the greenhouse gas inventory of its Climate Action and Sustainability Plan.
Solutions
In addition to the GHG inventory, Potdar catalogued energy and water efficiency audits previously conducted by the City, identifying measures that could be implemented based on technical, financial and environmental feasibility.
Potential Impact
Through his interactions with different tiers of Cleveland government, Potdar found that all City stakeholders need to provide their input on projects – such as the Climate Action Plan – if they are to be successfully implemented.
