What Our Alumni Are Saying
Pranav Bhardwaj

Pranav, Bhawdwaj

Project Analyst, New York Power Authority, 2022 Climate Corps Fellow

“One of the many skills I learned during my EDF Climate Corps fellowship was technical climate communication, which is crucial for bridging the gap between the varied stakeholders in the work we do. Being an effective communicator in any climate-niche is important for developing a strong case for climate action, fostering informed decision making, and collaborating with key stakeholders.”

Adriana Sanchez Romero

Adriana Sanchez Romero

Sales & Business Development Analyst, First Solar, 2023 Climate Corps Fellow

“As a recent graduate, I have found the job board to be a valuable resource in navigating the U.S.'s sustainability job market, particularly for its frequent postings in sustainability roles. The most beneficial aspect has been the supportive and collaborative Climate Corps network, where members are always willing to lend a hand however they can.”

John Culver

John Culver

Director of Environmental Sustainability, AdventHealth, 2013 Climate Corps Fellow

“I learned the value behind connecting an organization’s mission to sustainability. Clearly identifying and proving the relationship between what they seek to accomplish and how they do it, elevates sustainability to the highest levels of an organization.”

Sarah Volkman

Sarah Volkman

Director of Climate Strategy, Paramount, 2013 Climate Corps Fellow

“One of the most important things I learned during my Climate Corps fellowship was about the importance of translating technical information in a way that will be easily understood by key decision makers, regardless of their area of expertise. It’s an essential skill that I’ve used in every role I’ve had in my sustainability career.”

Alumni Benefits

The Climate Corps alumni network provides professional development resources, networking, and advocacy opportunities for climate professionals throughout their careers.

The network provides members with the ongoing support necessary for staying current in an ever-evolving field. We offer a variety of resources, including professional development webinars and workshops, access to a curated jobs board and speaking opportunities for alumni to share career insights with the Climate Corps Network in the United States.

We facilitate network-building opportunities, such as:

  • A mentorship program that matches volunteer alumni with current fellows.
  • Affinity groups for alumni with marginalized and underrepresented backgrounds in the environmental space in the United States.
  • A growing online community.

The Climate Corps program in the United States actively empowers network members to take action on climate policy to accelerate their development into positions of sustainability leadership. We provide training and support for aspiring advocates at the local, state and federal level. We offer webinars and trainings that empower members to create and execute individual advocacy plans.

The Climate Corps Network supports alumni in their growth and continued learning in their sustainability careers. We offer lunch & learns with EDF staff and webinars in partnership with the Net Zero Action Accelerator and other external partners.
