Amcor – Mingyang Jiao – 2021

Goals

Amcor is building a new factory and will not be upgrading the old factory. Mingyang Jiao was tasked with finding unreasonable uses of energy in the old plant to help the new factory to avoid similar problems. Sometimes the design institute only considered the functionality, but did not design from the perspective of energy saving. Her suggestions hoped to help improve the energy efficiency of the new factory.

Solutions

The scheme brings new ideas to HVAC energy saving and promotes the refined execution of energy management system. Problems in the old factory were discovered in terms of water waste and suggestions were provided for water savings and the maintenance of cooling towers in the new factory.
