Solutions

Andrea designed a ‘shop truck sharing’ pilot in Los Angeles to help right-size Caliber’s fleet by reducing the number of dedicated trucks stationed at individual sites. The pilot was developed in close collaboration with operations leaders and was integrated into existing coordination and communication channels across Caliber’s locations. She also identified strategic opportunities to introduce electric vehicles into the fleet and designed pilot programs for different fleet segments. Finally, Andrea conducted an analysis of thermostat set-points, quantifying the energy and cost savings achievable from scaling this practice across all Caliber sites.

Potential Impact

The shop truck sharing pilot delivered hundreds of thousands of dollars in annual cost savings and reduced Caliber’s Scope 1 mobile combustion emissions, with strong potential for greater impact at scale.
