This fellowship was completed in 2019. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Michael Ashida
University of Chicago
Mike Ashida is an MBA candidate at the University of Chicago where he is a co-chair of the Booth Energy Group and Japan Club. Inspired by his great-grandfather's work in nature conservation, Mike has developed a passion for sustainability through his mechanical engineering, energy management, and technology consulting background.
