GAF – Karan Shetty – 2019

This fellowship was completed in 2019. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. Karan Shetty

Karan Shetty is a MESM candidate at the Bren School of Environmental Science and Management at UCSB, focusing on Energy and Climate. A Silicon Valley native, Karan seeks to merge his interest in emerging technologies with his passion for sustainability in order to mitigate climate change.
