General Motors Company – Jefferson Sanchez – 2016

This fellowship was completed in 2016. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Jefferson Sanchez
University of Michigan
Jefferson Sanchez is a dual degree MS/MEng graduate from the University of Michigan with a BS in Chemical Engineering and Biology from MIT. He is passionate about sustainable energy and has worked in the biofuels space, both domestically and abroad, in Japan. Outside of work, Jefferson enjoys spending quality time relaxing outdoors.
