Goals
Fernando Herrero Sin spent his summer with Groom Energy Solutions, a commercial and industrial demand-side energy management company, in order to assist with sustainable finances.
Solutions
Herrero Sin created a parametric modeling tool that supports sales processes in the hospitality sector. The tool bundles energy efficiency projects to create estimates for energy and cost savings for specific properties.
Potential Impact
It is expected that this tool will be used at 50 properties in Massachusetts and could ultimately influence up to 30 million kilowatt hours in energy reduction in that state alone.
