Climate Corps Projects
Guess – Xinhui Ruan – 2019
This fellowship was completed in 2019. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Xinhui Ruan
Chinese Academy of Sciences
Xinhui Ruan is a PhD candidate in Industrial Ecology at Research Center for Eco-Environmental Science, CAS. Before the PhD program, she had intensive research and analysis experience in the textile industry where she realized the staggering environmental impact of industrial production and decided to restart a career in sustainability.
