JPMorgan Chase – Connie Yu – 2013

Connie Yu worked with the Office of Environmental Affairs group to continue making the business case for banks to finance energy efficiency and distributed generation. After conducting a comprehensive set of interviews, secondary research and analysis, Yu built awareness and socialized the opportunities of energy efficiency and distributed generation to Chase Commercial Bank senior executives and bankers.

Yu’s work culminated into core messaging materials to galvanize energy efficiency and distributed generation projects through marketing engagement strategies.

Yu also worked with JPMorgan Chase’s multiple real estate businesses to introduce new innovative ideas such as green leases and green appraisals. Yu’s work is a key part of the effort to mainstream sustainability into commercial lending. This will jumpstart an entire thought leadership series regarding upcoming market and environmental risks that will challenge the business in the long-term, but pay dividends down the road
