Climate Corps Projects
Longi Solar – Qihui Gao – 2019
This fellowship was completed in 2019. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Qihui graduated from Cornell with an MPA in Environmental Policy and holds a certificate of Sustainable Energy Systems. She became interested in the role of business in sustainability after working at the UNDP. Her career focuses on climate change mitigation and renewable energy development. Qihui enjoys dancing and natural photography.
