• He benchmarked sustainability reports from other automotive companies, identifying additional opportunities for GHG reduction.
• He designed a Scope 1 emissions strategy for the Auto & Farm divisions, prioritizing emission sources, conducting financial feasibility analyses, and identifying & collaborating with suppliers on new technologies.
• Additionally, Shankar prepared a summary of current electricity consumption & supported devising a strategy for Scope 2 emissions, including a gap analysis for renewable energy (RE) adoption, suggesting pathways to achieve RE100 by 2030.
