Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency – Esther Shears – 2017

This fellowship was completed in 2017. Climate Corps® is an innovative fellowship program that trains talented and passionate graduate students and pairs them with companies and public institutions dedicated to meeting their climate and energy goals. Fellows spend a summer designing tools and recommendations to accomplish emissions reduction goals by road mapping climate commitments, reducing energy consumption, procuring renewable energy, electrifying fleets, and engaging suppliers. About the fellow
Esther Shears
University of California Berkeley
Esther Shears is a dual-degree MS/MPP candidate at UC Berkeley. Esther serves as the Director of Recruiting for the Berkeley Energy & Resources Collaborative, and currently teaches a course in macroeconomics. She researches environmental justice and sustainability in supply chains, and enjoys hiking and skiing in the Sierra Nevada.
