Suzano – Diyi Jin – 2024

Diyi Jin is responsible for the market, policy, and environmental impact analysis of Suzano’s “Fossil to Fiber” project and the establishment of the “Fossil to Fiber” alliance.

Suzano is committed to bringing more sustainable fiber-based materials to the market to improve the sustainability of materials such as packaging. In response to the unsustainability of petroleum-based materials, Suzano hopes to establish a “Fossil to Fiber” alliance connecting upstream and downstream based on the company’s development.

Determine the policy and market acceptance of “Fossil to Fiber” in China and even in Asia and analyze the policy feasibility of implementing this plan in China. Assess the market acceptance of the “Fossil to Fiber” project in China, and calculate the market size that may be generated during the promotion of the project in China and the market share that the company can obtain from it. Selecting disposable packaging, high-end industrial packaging, and carbon-neutral products as the main areas of “fossil to fiber”. It also conducts research on downstream customers, major domestic packaging industry participants and terminal brands.

Completed a detailed “Fossil to fiber” policy, market, and environmental impact analysis. Based on the market and company status, investigated potential members of the Alliance and selected priority partners. Laid the foundation for the subsequent establishment of the alliance, and the work was recognized by the department. In addition, assisted in organizing internal ESG training and external green supply chain and ESG training to help Suzano and value chain customers better understand and implement the concept of sustainable development.
