Vista Equity Partners – Carol Issa – 2020

Goals

Vista Equity Partners, a leading global investment firm exclusively invested in enterprise software, data and technology-enabled organizations, tasked Climate Corps fellow, Carol Issa, with three main objectives: draft a report of Vista’s internal emissions, launch a sustainability leadership council across Vista’s 60+ portfolio companies, and identify a software platform to measure the annual ESG and GHG performance of Vista and its portfolio companies.

Solutions

Over the 12-week internship, Issa directly engaged 20+ portfolio companies, selected a software platform to help embed ESG into Vista companies, and gained alignment to publish Vista’s emissions.
