Goals
Ali Moazed, an EDF Climate Corps fellow from the University of Michigan, was hired to work with Yahoo!’s Director of Climate and Energy Strategy.
Solutions
Moazed worked on a three-year strategic plan for energy and greenhouse gas management and helped mobilize a team of Yahoo! programmers to work on “green coding,” developing Yahoo! applications to transfer data over the Internet in a more energy-efficient way.
