Methane detectors challenge: Phase 2 testing report
The Methane Detectors Challenge (MDC) was initiated to expedite development and commercialization of low-cost methane detection technologies.
Phase 2 tested each technology developer’s entire system in controlled laboratory and outdoor settings in order to ensure that the systems performed as required prior to moving into industry pilots. The primary objectives of this phase were to determine the readiness of the technologies for pilot testing in the field and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
