How to apply
EDF looks for students who are passionate about the environment and equipped with the technical and interpersonal skills to be a sustainability leader. Our process is as follows:
1. Recruit
We will be hosting events throughout September to November 2024 for prospective applicants to learn more about the Climate Corps India Program. For any India program recruitment-related questions, please email climatecorpsindia@ashoka.edu.in.
2. Apply
Submit an application by September 29, 2024 at 11:59 pm IST (the early bird deadline). Applications for the late deadline will open on November 4 and close on December 8, 2024 at 11:59 pm IST. Individuals who submit an application before the early deadline will have the opportunity to choose from a more robust list of host organizations.
3. Interview
If your application is successful, you will be called for a virtual interview where we will evaluate your qualifications. These interviews are compared to the needs of host organizations to determine appropriate matches. Applicants who apply by the early bird deadline have this interview between September and October 2024. Those who apply by the late deadline can expect an interview between December 2024 and January 2025.
4. Matches
Matches with host companies will happen between February and March 2025. The Climate Corps team will match you with a suitable participating host organization based on your profile, interest, and preferences.
5. Confirm
We connect you with your potential host organization supervisor for final confirmation. This conversation is an opportunity for you and the host to get to know one another and ensure a successful match.
