EDF+Business engages with oil and gas companies across the spectrum – from the small U.S. onshore independents, to the largest publicly traded firms and the National Oil Companies of many countries around the world. On a global basis, many of these companies work together through complex joint venture partnerships and share technology, best practices, and risk. To achieve EDFs strategic goal of reducing global methane emissions 45% by 2025, we need companies around the world actively mitigating their emissions, including National Oil Companies, which produce more than half of the world’s oil and gas and control nearly 90% of proven reserves.
