Maliʻo works on the Climate Corps team to build partnerships across the private, public, and non-profit sectors. Climate Corps is an innovative fellowship program that matches driven, enthusiastic graduate students with forward-thinking companies, municipalities, and organizations to advance and implement climate commitments and sustainability initiatives.
Prior to joining EDF, Maliʻo was a researcher and project manager with a focus on partnerships and climate adaptation strategy at The Nature Conservancy. She has a background in ecology, especially in the context of climate change, and has participated in as well as driven strategy for multiple fellowship programs at U.C. Santa Cruz, the American Museum of Natural History, and NOAA. Mali’o has an M.S. in Coastal Science and Policy from U.C. Santa Cruz and a B.S. in Geology from Brown University.
